Why Carthage?
“I chose Carthage because of the location, and the incredible music program and faculty. I also loved the campus and the size of the school.”
Faculty mentors
“In the music program, the faculty are incredibly supportive and offer many opportunities for students. Learning is collaborative and is not just teaching at a student, it is everyone learning together.”
Favorite class
“Musical Theatre Techniques because it offers an opportunity to work on different songs with a teacher and allows students to get up on their feet and perform.”
Toughest class
“Music Theory is difficult because of the workload and content is not always easy.”
Golden opportunities
“In the summer, I’ll travel to New York City for the J-Term with some other theatre students.”
Best tip for making friends
“Be yourself. Do not be afraid to try new things and put yourself out there.”
What would your 8-year-old self think of you now?
“8-year-old me would have been so excited to hear that I am following my childhood dream. Being a performer is something I have always wanted to do, and here I am doing it!”
