Biography
Liz Weiland ’21 is the director of advancement and alumni programs at Carthage. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Carthage in 2021 and began her career as an audio technician for Carthage’s Music Department during the 2021-2022 academic year.
She has previously worked with CTI, the in-house audio-visual provider at the Wisconsin Center District, and with festivals such as Mile of Music in Appleton, Wis. and the Eaux Claires Music Festival in Eau Claire, Wis.
In addition to her live events experience, she is a soprano and the technical advisor for the Master Singers of Milwaukee.

Main responsibilities at Carthage
Liz leads strategic planning for events, including Commencement, Homecoming, the Christmas Festival buffet, and several donor recognition and stewardship opportunities throughout the calendar year.
Other interests?
As a Milwaukee native, Liz enjoys spending time by the lake at Carthage and in the city as often as possible. She also enjoys singing with her choir, attending concerts, reading, cooking, hiking, and camping.
